Very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant today. Before ordering sushi, I asked how much rice is normally used because, as someone with diabetes, the amount of carbohydrates in my food is very important to me. I was told that they could not provide that information, but they could make the sushi with less rice than usual. I understand that exact measurements may not always be available, but I believe customers should at least be given some basic information about what they are ordering, especially when it comes to something like rice.I also ordered a salad from the menu and simply asked them to leave off the dressing. What I received was a very small portion that honestly looked more like a rough vegetable cutting than a proper salad: two slices of tomato, two slices of cucumber, some chopped lettuce, a piece of lettuce/cabbage that was left completely uncut, and a tiny amount of shredded carrot. I would have been completely fine eating a salad without dressing, but what I received was not what I would consider a proper salad from a restaurant menu. Stopped in for lunch today. This restaurant is interesting. From the decor on the outside, I was expecting it to be a vibrant colorful establishment that was more on the casual spectrum. Exact opposite. The restaurant has a dark tone to it and gives off more fine dining vibes. I don't dislike that, but it might be off putting to some people. That said, the food is delicious. Some of the best sushi I've had in Columbus. I ordered a triple three roll off the recommendation of my bartender, Grace....Who was fabulous btw. I also ordered a spicy salmon roll. This was part of a $20 lunch deal where I received a cup of soup as well. Everything was wonderful and had a lot of flavor. And my service was top notch. Will be back for sure.

My experience at The Blue Sushi in Polaris was excellent. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and every roll we ordered was delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming and modern. We ordered the surf and turf roll and the angry lobster roll, and both were outstanding ! We also enjoyed the General Tso chicken and the chicken and shrimp hibachi, both cooked perfectly. A special thank you to Barrackus, one of the managers, for his friendly and attentive service. He made us feel welcome and ensured we had a great experience. If you’re looking for great sushi, excellent service, and a wonderful dining experience, I highly recommend The Blue Sushi in Polaris. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent sushi going experience here. Ovi was an incredible server who acknowledged our wait for the drinks and apologized due to a pop in customers so we were fine with the waiting. She ensured we were taken care of and offered her recommendations on what we could order. The sushi was delicious and ultimately the date night was a big success!

One the best sushi places in Columbus area . Really line the seating area and colors of walls and furniture. Food as good. We like the specialty rolls, but sometimes I feel like different names but the same rolls just different order of layers)) Last time I ordered variety of sashimi on the rice along with fish I got tofu which I did not care for at all . Servers are always nice and pleasant.
